Our Big Idea for Change in America at Change.org
Our idea for change is: Pencil And Paper Can Be A Child's (And A Community's) Best Defense Against Self-Perpetuating Poverty.
Ideas for Change in America is a crowd-sourcing competition that empowers citizens to identify and build momentum around the most innovative ideas for addressing challenges our country faces. After the voting is complete, Change.org will host an event in Washington, DC, where the top 10 ideas will be presented to representatives of the media, the nonprofit community, and to relevant officials in the Obama Administration. After the announcement, Change.org will mobilize the full resources of its staff, 1 million community members, and extended network of bloggers to support a series of grassroots campaigns to turn each idea into reality.
Wouldn't it be a GREAT reality if every child in America was prepared for the future with the basic school supplies? We think so too, so please vote and help us spread the word to make this change!
