Who can shop at the Resource Centers?
Teachers from designated school districts located in the immediate areas of the Centers teaching at schools that have at least 70% of their students enrolled in the federal free lunch program.
How You Can Complete the Picture . . .
You and your company can make the difference by donating supplies and making cash contributions to the Kids In Need Foundation. Consider making a donation by offering Kids In Need your:
- excess inventory
- returned or slightly damaged merchandise
- outdated product lines
The Kids In Need Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. In some cases, that means up to two times the manufacturer's cost when product is donated.

“To be able to say you are part of a national network means a lot when you are talking to local funders. Invariably they want to know if there are other similar centers. Sharing in donations from trade shows and from vendors is, of course, a major part of our ability to provide students and teachers with basic school supplies. The ability to exchange ideas in both a formal and informal manner is invaluable. One idea we picked up at the Summit last year saved us over $4,000 in printing costs this year.”
