Marketing Operations Lead - remote position

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Brand Engagement, the Marketing Operations Lead will support all marketing services, web content management, and inbound leads for the organization. This is a remote position.


REPORTS TO: Director of Brand Engagement



  • Work in tandem with the Director to support the creation, strategy, publishing, management, and update of digital content presented on KINF website to maintain information as fresh, informative, and appealing to achieve established goals
  • Coordinate inbound lead management through, general email inbox, and phone, including but not limited to defining quality leads, managing the lead process, accountability, and reporting
  • Coordinate marketing services and development of content presented in materials including website, emails, standard external communication templates, promotions, campaigns, landing pages, and newsletters.
  • Design materials, videos, and graphics for campaigns,, emails, Every Teacher, Every Day, and other KINF channels.
  • Manage secure charity rankings (i.e. GuideStar, Charity Navigator, etc.)
  • Coordinate online fundraising through iDonate platform
  • Coordinate Kids Helping Kids initiative, working with youth ambassadors to set up fundraisers and supply drives.
  • Coordinate final design and deployment of listserv emails
  • Support development and production of KINF events
  • Support the development of content that attracts and engages KINF stakeholders and target audiences
  • Assist in communicating KINF’s brand voice
  • Support strong content strategy to drive high engagement and strong user experience, including identifying new content opportunities.
  • Execute website maintenance, including archiving outdated content, adding new content, updates to existing pages, and implementing changes to site content and layout based on analytics and usability testing
  • Support tracking of website traffic statistics and search engine metrics
  • Report website technical problems to IT staff
  • Use website content management systems to analyze website usage and apply data information to personalize and optimize content
  • Researching, writing, sourcing, and editing relatable content
  • Write and submit web and inbound analytics monthly report
  • Assist with updating marketing calendar
  • Assist with updating and executing social media content according to attention
  • Assist with tracking metrics for KINF campaigns, including website, email, and social media data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust content accordingly
  • Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, and/or communications or equivalent and related work experience.
  • Proficiency in WordPress or comparable content management platform
  • Experience in SalesForce/Pardot, MailChimp, iDonate, Google Analytics, Jotform and Canva a plus
  • Writing aptitude, strong proofreading, and editing skills
  • Meet time-sensitive, dynamic deadlines
  • Proficient in multi-channel media tools
  • Understand and interpret website analytics such as SEO and SMO
  • Understand marketing personas, social media profiles, surveys, interviews, and A/B testing
  • Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams with integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Must be fully Covid-19 vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination.

  • Ability to lift and/or carry supplies and/or papers weighing no more than 30 lbs.
