Program Manager and Copywriter

Description

  • Collaborate with the communications team and execute the overall strategy, goals, and management of Every Teacher, Every Day Program.
  • Manage the daily operations associated with Every Teacher, Every Day including but not limited to: the content calendar, updating the microsite using WordPress, maintain Every Teacher, Every Day social media platforms every day, and support production of Every Teacher Every Day special events (i.e. virtual meetings, webinars etc.)
  • Drive content creation and strategy that attracts and engages KINF & Every Teacher, Every Day stakeholders and target audiences
  • Research, write, source, and edit compelling content that reflects KINF’s and Every Teacher, Every Day brand voice.
  • Produce copy for a variety of marketing and promotional materials, including weekly emails, in adherence with KINF’s and Every Teacher, Every Day style guides.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to propose copy concepts and produce content presented in materials including but not limited to website, emails, standard external communication templates, promotions, campaigns, landing pages, newsletters, foundational documents, social media and video needs.
  • Oversee quarterly teacher forums with Teachers For Teachers
  • Draft, publish, collect, assess and communicate effectively survey results/data relative to Every Teacher, Every Day growth and specific initiative needs.
  • Source blog content and partnerships with teacher influencers
  • Multi-task projects with short deadlines
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust content accordingly
  • Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of teaching experience
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience as a copywriter or related role
  • Writing aptitude, strong proofreading, and editing skills
  • Strong research skills to source and vet relevant content
  • Highly creative and imaginative
  • Meet time-sensitive, dynamic deadlines
  • Proficient in multi-channel media tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams with integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Required to sit for long periods of time
  • Extensive use of computer, keyboard, and mouse
