Nomura CSR Americas will be partnering with the Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) to ensure that students in underprivileged communities are equipped with the basic necessities needed to succeed, beginning with school supplies.

Each student will receive a backpack filled with notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, folders, and paper. After five years, we are proud to continue this partnership to give back to those who need it most.

After continued challenges from COVID-19 and subsequent global events, underserved communities and school districts have lost resources and funding to provide for their students, and teachers have often used their own paychecks to bridge that gap.

KINF’s mission is to provide under-resourced school districts with essential school supplies to give children a strong foundation for learning, leveling the playing field for students in marginalized communities. With 15 million children from families struggling to fight economic hardship, many students are at a disadvantage before they reach the classroom. Every child deserves the same opportunities in education.
