Roseville In Bloom
The Kids In Need Foundation is proud to be a part of Roseville In Bloom, a celebration of "20 Roses in 2020" hosted by Visit Roseville.
Twenty local artists designed and decorated nearly seven-foot tall rose statues to be featured in outdoor public spaces throughout Roseville from July 1 through October 31, 2020, offering people of all ages a safe, FREE public art experience to enjoy in the summer and fall.
The 20 rose statues were built by TivoliToo. The circumference of each rose blossom is 100” and the total weight of the statue (rose, rose pot and base) is 658 pounds.
Artist Cora Hays highlighted the importance of education for all kids with a rose titled “The Value of Education” that will be placed at KINF's Roseville office in acknowledgement to the organization’s work of providing school supplies to children in need and their teachers throughout the country. KINF's rose is presented by long-time partner Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and vital resources with headquarters in St. Paul.
As part of Roseville in Bloom, the community is collecting school supplies and donations to support local students for the 2020-21 school year. Here's how you can help:
- Items can be dropped off at the KINF home office during receiving hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Our office is located at 2719 Patton Rd, Roseville, MN 55113. Please ring the doorbell at Dock Door "A" upon arrival and one of our team members will meet you.
- Invest in students across the country by making a donation. Every dollar contributes to providing supplies.
Visit Roseville is planning a series of free public activities to celebrate the rose displays. To maintain proper social distancing, some events will be done virtually. More information about the events, as well as free rose maps will be available at numerous locations throughout Roseville, and can also be downloaded at www.rosevilleinbloom.com.
When you visit the KINF rose, post a picture on social media and tag Kids In Need and Visit Roseville – and don't forget to use the hashtag #RosevilleInBloom!
