Roseville, Minn. (May 25, 2023) – Kids In Need Foundation, a national nonprofit that creates equitable learning spaces for all students, is proud to introduce BIC®, Post-it®, and Yoobi as the first Honor Roll level sponsors for the organization. BIC® pens, Post-it® Notes, and Yoobi erasers will be distributed through Kids In Need Foundation programs and initiatives thanks to these generous community leaders.
By providing teachers and students in under-resourced schools with essential school supplies and other much-needed resources, Kids In Need Foundation levels the playing field so students are prepared to learn. With a year-long commitment to the donation of core supplies, Honor Roll-level collaborators help limit the need for Kids In Need Foundation to purchase specific products, increasing the organization’s capacity to support teachers and students in underserved schools.
“By providing supplies in under-resourced schools, we are helping to ensure that fewer teachers will have to use their paychecks to personally finance classroom resources,” said Corey Gordon, CEO of Kids In Need Foundation. “We hope this social investment in our country’s most under-resourced teachers and students made by BIC®, Post-it®, and Yoobi inspires other corporations to recognize the immeasurable value of education.”
Kids In Need Foundation has a goal of serving 10 million students and 500,000 teachers each year in under-resourced schools by 2025.
“BIC has a long-standing commitment to supporting equal access to a quality education,” said Colin Smyth, marketing director, Human Expression for BIC. “Through the work of the Kids In Need Foundation, we’re proud to provide students and teachers across the country with the writing tools they need to prepare for a successful future.”
“Teachers are key to unlocking a student’s potential, the Post-it® is proud to be partnered with Kids In Need Foundation to support teachers’ success in the classroom. We appreciate and celebrate the work Teachers do every day,” said Heather Green, President, 3M Home Care, Auto & Workspace, Consumer Business Group.
“Yoobi has been built on the foundation of community impact. We truly believe that every child deserves to have the tools in order to succeed no matter the circumstance. Together with KINF we are immensely grateful to have been able to change the lives of over 6 million kids since our launch in 2014 and now with the launch of the KINF Honor Roll Program, we are able to drive more impact to kids who need it most!” said Ido Leffler, Founder of Yoobi.
