Since its launch in 2022, Toyota’s Big Summer Giveback program has thrived, thanks to the combined efforts of Toyota and its dealership network. The program has raised over $3.75 million in donations, benefiting more than 140,000 students. In 2024, more than 600 Toyota dealerships participated in the program. This included 47 participating at the Toyota Platinum Donor level and 36 achieving Toyota Gold Donor. At the highest level of sponsorship, Toyota staff directly provided backpacks filled with school supplies to students in area schools during onsite back-to-school events or other community gatherings. Many dealerships went the extra mile by hosting raffles, backpack assembly events, and fundraisers, strengthening their ties with local schools and communities.

Burger King’s Crown a Classroom project connects individual franchisees with under-resourced schools in their region, facilitating the distribution of Supply A Teacher kits filled with essential school supplies. The program has been a success in its first year, with a growing number of franchisees joining for its second year and an overwhelmingly positive response from supported teachers and schools. To date, BKF has donated more than $1.5 million, and impacted more than 100,000 students.

Chipotle used its Round-Up for Real Change initiative to launch a Back-To-School Round Up campaign, providing customers with the option to round up their bill to the nearest dollar and donate the change to KINF. The app displayed KINF’s logo along with a brief, clear description of its mission, making it easy for users to engage. Over the past four years, Chipotle has raised over $3.3 million to support over 150,000 students nationwide.
