The Kids In Need Foundation operates four key programs to help facilitate our efforts so that all students have access to quality school supplies to learn and succeed. We support more than 6 million kids and nearly 200,000 teachers across the country annually through these initiatives.
The Second Responder® program is dedicated to providing school supplies to students affected by natural disasters. We work with local authorities, schools, and select sponsors to provide school supplies to help students return to normal routines.Learn More
Through community sponsorships, our School Ready Supplies program can provide pre-assembled backpacks filled with essential school supplies or deliver bulk supplies to host backpack building events.Learn More
Our GiftATeacher.org program (formerly Teacher Supply Boxes) provides two boxes containing roughly $500 in the most essential school supplies — from notebooks and markers to pens and glue – to teachers at schools with high need. Teachers apply annually and donors can fund throughout the school year.Learn More
